What goes on every photo
- Coordinates in decimal degrees or degrees, minutes and seconds, with the GPS accuracy
- Full address looked up from the coordinates, with an optional country flag
- Date and time in the format you choose
- A map thumbnail in normal, satellite, terrain or hybrid style, placed left or right, or hidden
- Optional extras: altitude (GPS), compass heading, weather, Plus Code, project name, your name, contact number and a note
Visible stamp plus EXIF data
The stamp is part of the image, so it survives WhatsApp, printing and reports. Fixlens also writes GPS position and time into the photo's EXIF data, so mapping and GIS tools can place the photo automatically.
How to use it
- Open Fixlens and allow camera and location.
- Watch the accuracy pill at the top of the screen. Wait a few seconds outdoors for the smallest ± value.
- Swipe the stamp to choose a template, then take the photo.
- Find it in the Fixlens album in your gallery, ready to share.
Works without internet
GPS does not need mobile data, so coordinates and time are stamped even offline. The address and map need a connection to look up.

Is the location saved inside the photo file?
Yes. Besides the visible stamp, GPS position and time are written to the photo's EXIF data for mapping and GIS tools.
Which coordinate formats are available?
Decimal degrees and degrees, minutes and seconds, plus a Google Plus Code for places without a street address.
